I was recently going through some of my old tech stuff and found an old capio II sitting in a box. A capio II is what is called a "thin server" and has 32 megs of ram and is meant to be used as a remote desk toping client. I am extremely interested in making this thing do something, but I am unsure on where to start and even more so what to start on. I am really leaning towards folding, but even then the thing only has usb ps2 serial and lan ports so I have no idea how to install an OS to the machine...If any one can help I would REALLY appreciate it. Just to let you all know I have done about 3 days of HARDCORE googleing to determine what to do, and so far I have been able to unlock the bios and read about other people putting linux on it...

I really want to run knoppix off of a thumb drive, or windows off an external hard drive, or something of the sort if it is even possible.

Here is a link to when it first came out.

My recommendation would be to look into PXE.
