Ocing a SB51G

Wed May 28, 2003 12:11 am

I am the proud owner of a SB51G, and I want to put my P4 1.6A and overclock it :) It was doing just fine in a SS51G at 133FSB but I can't seem to set the FSB to 133. Is this insurmountable? Is there an updated BIOS I could try or a jumper I missed?

can't do it.

When I had my SB51G, I could do 100-132 on a 100 fsb p4, and 133-+ on a 133 fsb p4.

The only way possible is to solder in a pull up resistor, essentially changing the proc from a 100 fsb to a 133 fsb.

Crap, thanks DiM :P Since someone threw a SiS 645 motherboard at me maybe I'll stick that proc in that and get a 533 processor for the cube, since other than that I love the little guy....
