Lately my 2 HTPC's have been getting random audio bursts that last from 2-6 seconds and seem to be from a TV show, perhaps a movie or something along those lines. and when i mean random it could happen at any time but at most 2-3 times a day...or it will not happen at all but most days it might happen once. Plus it is very loud since it is using the system volume and I have that set to about 40% on my realtek stereo output 1/8th inch jack hooked to my powered partners speakers so I can adjust the volume with MPHC to my liking.
The other PC doing this is getting its audio through a HDMI cable through a LProfile asus 6570. So I do not think it matter what output is used for audio.
It can happen Browsing the web via Chrome or playing a video file or just searching through my computer files. It is very strange and I have no Idea where to look for the problem or how to find it.
Has anyone ever come across this weird behavior before?
