Funny LCD problem

A friend of mine gave me an LCD saying it wasn't working. I turn it on and the backlight flashes then goes off. The LCD is working but the backlight is not. If I turn the LCD off and then back on the backlight flashes on then off again.

It's amazing how you can fix something by taking it completely apart and then putting it back together. :lol:

well that would be perfect to use use as an oakey projecter set up that supposedly works really well, if the backlight was dead.
