What part or peripheral on mobo requires -5V?

Heh, I still use my old BP6 celly system daily. It runs Windows XP suprisingly well considering how old it is. Have 2 gigs of memory and the 300A@450.

On the Apollo Pro 133 based mobo(GA-6VX7-4X) with a PSU having -5V, I installed XP and there is no problem so the capacitor seems to be still OK. Then I installed W95B and W98SE. I will create a new thread "File sharing - W98SE" in Windows area to seek further help.
