Ok lets start with what i currently have. My gaming rig is contained in a Coolermaster HAF922, with a Gigabyte P67-ud4-b3 motherboard running the F6 bios holding a 2600k cooled by a Asetek H50-60 equivalent with 120mm push pull setup, 2x4gb sticks of ddr3 1600 black corsair vengence memory, 2 EVGA GTX 560TI"s in SLI, The OS is on a 60GB corsair force SSD along with 2 2TB WD green drives as storage. Optical drives consist of a Asus dvd drive with lightscribe"useless:)" and a LG bluray dual layer burner drive. the system is powered by a Corsair TX850 watt PSU. Its using a OEM copy of win7 64 bit since it was a custom build from ibuypower back in april of last year...I would have built it myself but after pricing everything piece by piece Ibuypower was only 50$ more and it came with a 2 year guarantee so i was happy to let them build it.
The reason for wanting to upgrade the motherboard is this...It overclocks fine but anytime i overdo a overclock it goes into a rebooting loop that will only show the board splash screen for 5-10 seconds then reboot itself and continue rebooting until i open the case and jump the clear c-mos jumper for a while...very annoying. The second reason is i have a G530 cpu sitting here collecting dust since i upgraded the g530 out of my 229$ slim gateway refurbished tower with a i3 2125 cpu along with a ASUS low profile hd6570 and a PCI-e 1x wireless g card. I plan on re-installing the the g530 cpu into that chassis and selling it to a friend for 325$.
So i have 325$ to spent at newegg and build another gaming rig, since i plan on removing one of the gtx 560 ti's from sli since i have not been doing any heavy gaming lately, also i have no need for 2 optical drives on one rig and since the bluray drive works for DVD's as well. I will be planting a 560ti and one of the optical drives in my new build along with 2 250gb 7200rpm WD blue drives in raid for my OS, I feel that will be fast enough for a boot drive setup since i cannot afford a SSD at this time and the WD blue drives are free, already in my possession and i know they work.
Here are the parts i am looking to get. Advise on the motherboard is my main concern along with how not to screw up my OEM win 7 install.

As for not screwing up my win 7 install i was planning to keep my current rig complete minus the 2600k and asetek water cooler and install the i3 2125 cpu and OEM cooler into it and keeping it as my server/storage and light gaming rig. Along with poaching the DVD drive and 850 watt PSU for my new rig. So i will also be installing the 500 watt corsair builder series PSU into my current running rig.
If i need more graphic horsepower i can always take the other 560 ti as well and install a hd6450 i have collecting dust to put in my current rig.
I realize the case i selected to hold my 2600k etc is not the best but it is more compact then my haf922, has front USB3, great ventilation along with plenty of 120mm fan mounts and i think it looks pretty cool for the money. I don't have to worry about beating it up as i do not tote my cpus around at all. Just to bring them outside and de-dust them with my air compressor every few months.
Thanks for reading any thoughts or suggestions feel free to post away i would really appreciate it
