I have a Samsung p2470HN Digital HD and a PS3, as this TV / Monitor comes with a single HDMI input, connect one probe of the two teams with an HDMI-DVI to DVI input, the problem is that I get "Mode not Supported "all resolutions 480P, 720P, 1080I, but it turns out the PS3 in 1080P? I take it, but as leftovers the majority of PS3 games are in 720P, it is rare not, probe all types of cable, connectors etc, and I can not configure it, the most strange thing that probe the PC with DVI and works wonders, it is clear that both PS3 and HDMI Digital encoder go great.

Any suggestions?, Or not hidden menu to change the resolution.

Thank You

I'm struggling to understand your english, but you are saying that the PS3 doesn't work using DVI > HDMI adapters?

Only use a straight HDMI > HDMI cable from the PS3 to the HDMI input of the monitor, without adapters.
I don't think the PS3 officially supports DVI output; If you use a DVI input on the monitor for your PS3 it will probably only work at 1080p because that is the native resolution of the screen and no scaling is needed. HDMI and DVI are compatible, but the signals are not identical - especially in the case of an HDCP device like a PS3.

You can blame the MPAA for infecting your hardware with stupid, self-serving DRM systems like HDCP - HDCP causes many problems for many people and it certainly doesn't stop the pirates.

Uh, I think you mean HDCP here! DHCP is something entirely different!

Brainfart, that is all. I used HDCP earier in the post and then obviously ran out of concentration juice (coffee).

I can't think of an acronym for DHCP that expresses the stupidity of the HDCP system, but I'm sure someone who's not drinking beers like me can come up with something witty ;)
