The latest Memtest86 -- which they call "4.0b (server)" on their site -- does a much better job of stressing the RAM, by using all available cores.
(Suggest avoiding the Memtest86 4.0a version, and the Memtest86+ 5.0 beta -- I've found both to be flaky. Memtest86+ 4.20 is stable, but does not use all of your cores and therefore is not as good of a stress test.)

try unplugging and re connecting ur sata cables, or replacing them all together.....i had 1 bad one and was experiencing random BSOD's with loss of access to drives....replaced it, and all was fine....ended up replacing all of them just to be safe...

I had some terrible OCZ Gold DDR3 RAM for X58 that caused crashes all the time. It always passed memtest, but turning it down to 1066mhz solved all my BSOD problems.
i7 processors (possibly just the older ones but I doubt it) hate >1.5v RAM I've noticed.
I still need to replace mine with 1.5v...it only runs at 1066 also despite being 1600 at 1.65v
