Basic lapel microphone

I'd like a recommendation for a basic label microphone, mostly for use with Skype. In another thread, JustAnEngineer mentioned the Zalman Zm-Mic1, but I'm not satisfied with the sound quality.

Unfortunately there's kind of a jump from tiny clip on junk Mics to proper Lavellier mics.

That said there's some battery powered options that work OK vs going up to a proper -48V phantom power Mic.

I think the Sony ECM-CS10 is the starting/entry price and sounds better than the unpowered Audio-Technica ATR3350 .. Shure and Audio-Technica both have a wide range of Mics, but mostly this type are designed to work with wireless boxes.

All of that said, my most common suggestion for "home" communication mics is WebCams - they generally have pretty nice little mics and designed to pickup sound from a few feet away super clearly AND you can use them with Skype. :)
