Razer Mamba Mouse

Fri Feb 21, 2014 4:48 pm

I bought a Razer Mamba wireless mouse a few years ago, and it's served me very well.

Lately, I've noticed that as soon as I let the mouse go, the little pointer arrow icon drifts to the lower left corner. I've made sure that the table, and mousepad I'm using are level. I've tried it on different surfaces, with the same results. I've also run thru their support software, and recalibrated the mouse for the surface, and have even played around with polling rates, etc...

Any ideas why this is happening? I've tried using a cheap MS wired mouse in the same USB port, and on all the same surfaces I tested the Razer on, and it experiences no drift at all. Quite puzzled over this.

It's possible that your monitor is drifting up and to the right, while the pointer is staying in the same place. I would make sure this isn't happening first.

double checked. Its not the monitor doing it. besides, the wired MS mouse doesn't exhibit the same symptoms.
