I have Windows 7 64-bit installed on a seagate 7200.9 500GB GPT disk with an EFI boot loader. The SSD cache drive is a 32GB Sandisk ReadyCache drive. Windows 7 was installed with the SATA mode set to RAID and is still currently set to RAID (confirmed further via the device manager).
I have tried:
- Converting the SSD from GPT to MBR
- Formatting the SSD to NTFS
- Deleting all partitions on the SSD
Things I'm going to try very soon:
- Reinstalling Intel RST
- Shrinking the OS partition slightly (apparently this is a known fix *shrug*)
- Trying another SSD
Can anyone think of anything else?
TL;DR - Accelerate option from Intel RST driver is missing even though SATA mode is set to RAID.
*EDIT* - The part highlighted in red worked for me.
