I have just got my new Chaintech Ti4200 128mb card and the RAM has the following written on it.

Samsung 226
K4D28163HD - TC40

Does anybody know what this RAM is capable of?? The default speed I believe is 444Mhz.

Oh, and can anyone tell me what util I can use to O/C the card?

Most people use coolbits but you can use RivaTuner or any other similar util.

The last 2 digits are the crucial ones, 40 relates to 4.0ns (what nearly all 4200-128 have) and should technicaly hit 500mhz with certainty although 550mhz or so is common in practice.

The core should get 275mhz at least with 320mhz not being unheard of.

Your defaults should be 250/444 and for reference 4400=275/550 4600=300/650. So raise those clocks gradually looking at each setting for any visual glitches which will indicate the limit has been reached, then back off a few notches and away you go.

I currently have my Ti-4200 running at 300/550 with no problems. It has the exact same memory as yours, you should have no problems OCing it.
