Black dot on the monitor screen, a defect?

Hi there,

I got this black dot on the screen which is always there, no matter what resolutions or refresh rates I use. Should it be something to worry about?

Is this an LCD monitor? If so you probably just have a dead pixel.

No, it is a CRT monitor. Brand and model is Intergraph 28hd96 28 inch monitor.
