As much as this might seem like BS, he may be right... I did some fishing, and found this:

<A HREF="http://www.gainward.com/us/products/Gainward%20Geforce3%20PowerPack!!!%20Ti550XP%">

"System Requirements

100% Compatible CPUs
64MB of system memory
AGP Bus(AGP version) or <B>PCI Bus(PCI version)</B>
CD-ROM or DVD-ROM"

Flippajoe your link doesn't work. The nearest I can find is

http://www.gainward.com/us/products/vgacard.htm

From here you can hit all the Vidcards and all the ones I looked at said
"Support AGP 2X/4X"
nothing about PCI.

That is a AGP card in the picture. PCI and AGP connectors look NOTHING alike, and that is obviously an AGP.

It looks like a GeForce 2 Ti 500--not a GeForce 3 Ti 500 (where are all the capacitors?). I didn't know these were available until just now. According to Gainward's web page, the GeForce 2 Ti 500 video card is just a GeForce 2 Pro card. In fact, it looks very similar to my old VisionTek GeForce 2 GTS.

Lol, erm. How stupid does he think people are?

"dont be a jerk, i havent ripped 1 person off on yahoo, and already my feedback rating is low"

He has 3 negative ratings and one nearly negative and expects that to be belived!?

The GeForce 3 TI PowerPack 550 lists AGP or PCI.

There are pci versions of the GeForce 3 out there.

Um, the card in the picture is out of a Mac. See the little conector at the bottom near the fan plug? That's the power connector for the Apple ADC monitors.

He wrote back to me:
"I bought these cards in a lump sum of 100 from the manufactuer"
He didnt answer my questions about a place actually selling these or if it was a Mac or pci card.

Anyone have about $300 to throw at this guy, and find out what he's really selling?

Imagine how pissed off the person that wins it is gonna be when they find out that it doesn't work in their PC. The person doesn't list any compatibility specs--other than it's a PCI video card. And, $15.00 for shipping? That's rediculous if it's being sent to a U.S. address.

Well, I was curious about what I saw on the Gainward site, and apparently it's just a blanket statement. After doing some searching on the net for a few minutes, I can't find any mention of a G3 PCI.

Cut of Gainward system Specs on GeForce 3 PowerPack Ti 550
--
100% Compatible CPUs
64MB of system memory
AGP Bus(AGP version) or PCI Bus(PCI version)
CD-ROM or DVD-ROM
----

So, I'm 'tarded.

I did do some research on Mac GeForce 3's as well, and there isn't ( from what I saw ) a PCI version either, AGP4x only.

--edit fixed typo blank to blanket.

Noticed that too DiMaestro...but can find any mention of people actually selling or even producing that version though

There have never, ever been any GF3 PCIs. I'd bid on this thing just to sue the snot out of that crapmeister wehn he can't deliver, but I was automatically dumped from the auction since I haev no feedback.

well that is funny! notise that his "pci" VGA card has that stablizer thing on the bottom that is only availible in AGP 4x slots. my agp slot doesnt have one.

Now this is what I call satisfied customers:
Comment:This guy is a big fat liar. He cheated my money by not sending the right stuff that I auction for. Never negotiate with him after auction is closed. Only auction if 2nd time post with the same as of the first post(descriptions, detail of item you are auct (Jan 15 17:12 PST)

Comment:I won this no reserve auction and contacted seller emediatly. but he refused to complete the auction because my bid was to low very unprofeshional.!!

This guy has earned my confidence.

This guy seems to sell alot of software, but one title caught my eye: The Oregon Trail?! I haven't played that game since I was in Elementary School using a Apple 2e. They still make that game? I might have to pick up a copy just for the flashback.

Did you have to get there in a wagon? I don't think going to Oregon is worth all the freaking snakes and random encounters along the way. Seems pretty cool once you get there though.

It's either the -1 rating or the picture of the AGP card but read the buyer comments, this guy sounds like bad news.
