I am playing Battlefield 3 beta on 275.33 Nvidia drivers when it says it should have the latest beta that Nvidia has released. Is running the game on the old drivers going to damage any thing in my PC. It crashes sometimes often and other times it plays for hours with out interruption. EVGA GTX 560 Ti, i5 2500k, ASUS P8P67 PRO B3 rev 3.1, win 7 64x, corsair 850 TX PSU.

Certain disastrously-bad drivers from NVidia have been known to destroy cards, but I wouldn't expect the non-deadly drivers that you have to interact with any game to damage your card.

Is there some reason that you're not running the 280.26 release drivers?

"driver crashes and recovers" problem. I heard it was about the voltage being set wrong in the 280 drivers, don't know but it didn't work for me.

I don't think you have to worry about damaging anything, but the performance increase you'll get by using the beta drivers should be pretty noticeable. You can get them here.
