Yes, you read that right, 1.33 GHZ GPU clock speed with 6 GB of Ram. From what i have read in other site reviews, HD7970 scales preety well when overclock and this thing at 1.33 GHZ will be a demon.

For more details ... Link

Interesting. I'm curious to see what other AIB vendors sell. Competition is good.

Actually, the 7970 Flex 6G will be clocked at 925/5500, while the Atomic RX and WC (water cooled) versions will be clocked at 1335/5735.

I wonder how far the memory can be clocked.

Actually? I'm confused. It sounds like you are trying to refute facts which are not stated.

The high overclock will not have the double amount of memory at the same time.
Both exist, just not together as implied.

I think he was just expounding upon the versions listed on the leaked document from the source link.

He was correcting this: "1.33 GHZ GPU clock speed with 6 GB of Ram"

The supposed model with 6GB runs at stock speed, the high clock versions are all 3GB.

My bad, looks like you guys are correct.

1335mhz GPU (around a %40 overclock from stock) and 3Gb Ram still sounds like a monster. 6GB seems kinda useless unless you're doing some kind of insane Eyefinity setup.

I'd be really interested to see performance benchmarks of HD7970 at 772/4008, just to see how it fares against GTX580 in terms of IPC.

It seems the only saving grace for Radeons as of late is their ability to clock a metric assload. I wonder what would happen if nV finds a way to achieve clockrate parity?

How about running GTX580's shader speed same at core clock speed, wait ... you can't do that. Different architecture, different approach, you can't compare them like that.
