Cheap replacement for the 4870

Sat Feb 25, 2012 6:45 pm

I am currently gaming on a 22" 1680x1050 and was wondering if the 6850 should be enough to max out all games for me? Also should I wait and see when they release the 7850?
Network theory sucks.

Check out the performance difference for yourself:

While the 6850 dominates the 4870, I would wait. Once Kepler comes out, AMD will drop prices.

And even if you don't end up liking Pitcairn, the 6850 will almost certainly see some great sales on its way out. The 5870 definitely did.
