So I ended up buying the Gigabyte Windforce GTX 660 2GB card. Bought on amazon for 204.99 after mail in rebate.

I was really going back and forth but decided to go with the Gigabyte based on the the lower power draw and numerous reviews commenting on the low noise and thermals. Seems like a decent trade off for a couple of frames per second. Plus the 660 performed better in the games that I am currently playing.

1080p resolution..... the op's display is 1080p and the difference is almost always less than 10% usually less than 5%.
