i have a triple monitor setup: a 1440p display and two 1080p displays in portrait mode on both sides. unfortunately, eyefinity isn't an option for me. what i can do, however, is run my games in windowed mode, and then manually stretch them across all three screens. i even have a little program that allows me to run any game i want in a borderless window, so they behave like full screen.

however, i also run dual 7970 in crossfire, and as far as i can tell, crossfireX does not work in windowed mode.

is there a way for me to get crossfireX working with games in windowed mode?

AFAIK you need to use fullscreen mode to enable CrossfireX in any capacity due to how it splits up the workload.

You could set your center (1440p) monitor to 1080p and use it that way if you can deal with the scaling effects.
