Replacement for SLI 560 TIs

Postposted on Sun Nov 10, 2013 1:20 pm

Hi there,

Wife's machine is running a pair of 560 Ti's. One of the fans is starting to rattle/crap out methinks. Looking for a suitable single card replacement. Sub $200 preferably.

She never runs anything too terribly intense graphics-wise. Anything equivalent in performance or greater will be considered.

Thanks!

Radeon HD7950 Boost with 3 free games provides excellent performance and good value. The slightly-crippled Tahiti GPU in the Radeon HD7950 has 7/8ths of the shader capacity of the full Tahiti GPU in the Radeon HD7970/R9-280X with the same memory bandwidth. This card has recently been under $200.

I don't know where SLI 560 Ti's would fall, but I have a 7950 (which I did get for <$200 with MIR), and it has been excellent.
Save yourself the trouble and don't ask why the TV remote is in the refrigerator.
