It really all boils down to "Dont open .scr files."
I think most people on this website probably already know this.

This isn't exactly new. People have been hacking steam accounts by this method for a few years. Seems to have come back into popularity with all the recently implemented warnings to counteract the rash of URLs to impostor steam login pages.

Typical gamer accounts can have serious money in inventory items so there is considerable incentive for people to hijack and liquidate accounts.
