I'm looking for a decent non-bloated (as in Creative) program to sub M$'s poorly laid out audio control panel(s). Creative's control panel along with their drivers suffer from the usual 'bloat' factor and I would perfer NOT to use it.

Any suggestions that would place the playback along with the bass/treble controls and recording on the same panel instead of switching back and forth as in Windows?

I'm running 2k w/sp4 and a SB Live Value card.

have you tried the volume control and the advanced properties?

That is what I don't want to use; M$'s crappy controls!
It's a real pain to switch between record and playback all the time and the bass/treble is hidden on top of that!

Someone else suggested that. I will look at them, but I just wanted a program, not drivers! On a rare move M$'s drivers are ok (can't believe I said that!!)
