Hi all,
Need to make iso images from laptop to mount in main rig as last SATA port is blocked by gfx card and others occupied. Cba to purchase external cd-rom as receiving Deus Ex on Friday. Please recommend easy software as google provides overwhelming amount of info on this matter.

Alcohol 120 or Daemon Tools should work just fine.

I need to make an ISO image on a USB drive. Will these programs support that (doesn't look like it) or do I need to use something else?

Not sure about ISO->USB. For Windows 7 ISO they released a specific tool to do that, but I may be making more USB disks based on ISOs so I would like to know if there are other tools out there too.

Virtual CloneDrive is also good for mounting ISOs.
As to making bootable USB sticks, look at something like UNetbootin or the Universal USB Installer.

I always use PowerISO. It can make, mount and extract ISO files as well as many others. Works fine on W7...

For just the ISO creation side, you can't beat the simplicity of ISO Recorder.

imgburn as it doesn't come bundled with a clickthrough spyware grab
