I'm sad that there doesn't seem to be any hope for native way to play Amazon VOD content on the PS3. People are saying to use PlayOn to stream the Amazon VOD content from computer to PS3, so I'm wondering if anyone has tried this and what do they think of it? Or any general comments about PlayOn itself would be nice.
If I can help it I'd rather not buy a Roku just to get Amazon VOD content on the TV.
Anyone use PlayOn?

Haven't used it since 2008. Gave up because the quality sucked so bad.

I've been using it for about a year. For some things it works great. For other things, it's terrible. I haven't used it with Amazon VOD, so I can't say how well it works with that service. I will say it generally works very well if you do not need to rewind or fast forward through the stream.
