There's a chance Google Chrome/Firefox can become the default browser at the company I work for. However, I must first defeat the corporate policy. In submitting an application for use on the company network, you have to list all the ports & protocols used by the requested application. Seems more than fair.
I know a few ports & protocols supported in browsers (HTTP, HTTPS, FTP, SFTP), but I haven't found any documentation that lists all the other protocols & ports supported. This doesn't seem to be documented anywhere for any browser. Part of my brain is saying it's one of the OSI networking models. Any suggestions/documentation is appreciated.
