unwanted changes to my jpeg's

I use irfanview v4.33 as my image viewer. On my last install all of my pictures have been changed to the irfanview icon. The actual picture is unchanged.

How do I get the actual picture showing again without opening the file?

My guess would be to change all file associations back to Windows Photo Viewer.

Infranview has not coded the explorer plug in to display the files as thumbnails.

picture will still show unless you're using only the "small icon" view setting.

IrfanView rocks my socks.
