I recently updated Google Chrome to version 26.0.1410.43 m.
I'm now running into some issues when I type a mathematical equation into the omni-bar, using Bing as my search engine. I did not previously encounter this issue, and I still do not encounter this issue when loading the page in Internet Explorer. Does anyone have any insight into this issue?

Searching for 12265/210 and 12265*210 both show this problem. Searching for 2+2 does not. This is not a problem I had until today.

If by "some issues" you mean it just seems to treat it as a search string instead of calculating the result, it seems to be happening in all browsers for me. Tried it in Chrome (on both Windows and Linux), Chromium (Open Source version of Chrome for Linux), Firefox, and IE (on both WinXP and Win7).

IOW it's a Bing bug, not a Chrome bug.

No idea why it still works in IE for you though. What version of IE was this? I used IE 8. Maybe the calculator feature only works in IE 9 now? That doesn't make much sense though, MS would have to be doing something really squirrelly for it to act like that.

I should update my sig. I'm now on Windows 8, so I was running IE10. Its just really bothering me, because up until yesterday it worked fine on Chrome.

Well, like I said this does not appear to be an issue that is specific to Chrome. MS has apparently broken the calculator feature of Bing.
