How do I slowly Fast forward, Back forward a Video in KLite

I am using K Lite media player classic for watching videos but having trouble fast forwarding or back forwarding because the only way I know to do that is by sliding the slider bar using mouse which is not precise.
Is there another way to do It more accurately ?

Mplayer is very good at moving around in a stream. Right and left arrow keys are 10 sec, up and down are 30sec and Page up and down are about 5 minutes. No problem to find a spot in the video and useful for boring crap.
There are a bunch more useful keys but that will do for now.
