Wild Card Weekend Predictions

Fri Jan 04, 2008 1:57 pm

Jacksonville at Pittsburgh - Jacksonville is tough as hell, Pitts has a patchwork defense, maybe no Palomalu, and a crappy O-line.
Tennessee at San Diego - San Diego is hot, Tennessee really shouldn't even be in the playoffs.
Washington at Seattle - Washington is playing well, motivated, and Seattle bores me to tears, so I have to say the Skins. Sorry Lickety, no bets.
New York at Tampa Bay - If the Giants can play like they did against the Patriots they should easily beat Tampa, although I do like their defense.

Pittsburgh will show Jacksonville the door
San diego wins convincingly
Seattle shows up the little engine that could
Tampa bay shows the giants what a pass attack looks like.

Jacksonville at Pittsburgh - Jack is on a roll right over Pitt
Tennessee at San Diego - Tennessee just barely made it in, so they will quickly make it out.
Washington at Seattle - I hate Washington
New York at Tampa Bay - New York is too unreliable to bet on.

Jacksonville at Pittsburgh - Jacksonville is the best non-Patriot bet to make the Super Bowl
Tennessee at San Diego - Vince Young is not going to win an NFL playoff game until he learns to be a quarterback.
Washington at Seattle - I sooo like seeing Holmgren lose
New York at Tampa Bay - Then they come to Green Bay and get CRUSHED LIKE THE BUG THEY ARE!!!!11

100% agreed.

Jacksonville, San Diego, Washington, and New York all advance. Pittsburg is coming in disoriented and ailing against a red-hot Jacksonville team. San Diego outclasses Tennessee on both defense and offense hands-down. Washington and Seattle I think will be close, but Washington has the stronger defense which should hold them out. Despite injuries, New York has shown significant resilience on offense; I see their defense running over Tampa Bay's offense easily.

Make it a poll dude!

The Steelers couldn't beat the Jags last time at home, what makes you think they can now with a team that is beat up?

Also, I'd rather watch Jacksonville take a shot at New England than watch the Steelers get embarrassed again.

As far as Seattle goes, most people in this town love them, therefore I am bound to hate them and rub it in people's faces. Much in the way people love the UM Grizzlies, but damned if I'm going to root for them.

Cowboys or Packers in the Super Bowl, no question.

Well that game was pretty good, too bad the Skins had to blow it. I was really excited to watch them come back.

Oh well, onto the only conference that matters. ;)

Me and the rest of the steel tahn. Ben "**** it im going deep" Roflsburgher. What a terrible game for him. Gettin pwned sucks, getting pwned at home is worse, getting pwned, at home, twice, but the same team is embarassing.

Well don't feel too bad. I think Jacksonville is the best Wild Card team. Pitt would have done better against Washington or Seattle for example.

Meh, if we played this bad against the browns we lose. I'll prolly root for Jacksonville the rest of the way. New sig to come.

I hereby promise to never badmouth Ben again. He has redeemed his game, even if we go on to lose. Pittsburgh has heart folks, never quit! I hate games like this, I have no fingernails and my heart is racing.

Bah, At least we made it interesting. My hopes are for drafting an offensive line and a replacement for Alan Faneca, and using Spaeth and Miller more.

Guh, sorry pete, that was a helluva game. I'm excited to see Jacksonville at New England. I think that will be a great game too. Personally though, I would rather play New England if I were the Colts. It's gotta be tough to beat a division team like Jacksonville three times in a row.

Hell, I'm just rambling. This is going to be a great post-season for sure!

The Packers are getting 8 points. That seems like an awful lot of points
