Dude, you've been on this forum since 2004 and you don't know what BBCode is? BBCode is an alternate language used to create things like links, bold text, italic text, etc. Ever highlight and word and hit "B" button in the bar above when you post? See the tags that appear on either side of the word? That's BBCode.

Wikipedia is your friend --> http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/BBcode
BBCode is an abbreviation for Bulletin Board Code, the lightweight markup language used to format posts in many message boards. It is also called forum codes. The available tags are usually indicated by rectangular brackets surrounding a keyword, and they are parsed by the message board system before being translated into a markup language that web browsers understand, usually HTML or XHTML.

Here is a HTML to BBCode converter --> http://www.seabreezecomputers.com/html2bbcode/

Your sig in BBCode (quote the post to see the code)

The image from Xboxlc is not working now for some reason. MyGamerCard.net is better anyway. ;) Plus, these Gamercard websites literally hand you the code to copy and paste in HTML and BBCode format.

Just because I post on forums doesn't mean I know a lot about the code used in them. Yea, I use the bold stuff on occasion, but for the most part, I don't know how to do things like links and images and etc etc in the various codes.

Hell, it wasn't until like 2 months ago that I learned how to embed links in text. And I don't even remember how to off the top of my head. (and I never noticed the button for that up above until now). Anyway, I'll see if I can fix it. Thank you :P

The giants are absolutely the best possible matchup for the pats, they don't have a lot of speed at running back, and the pats are better against slower runners, and they don't have to worry about covering for harrison's lack of speed because the giants don't really have that much at wideout. Look for Eli to have happy feet before the first quarter is over and throw at least two int's.

The fact that they won says they are better off without him, and he wasn't that valuable.

I didn't care too much either way though to see something like a 19-0 perfect season would have been cool. Seriously that is a once in a lifetime things. And regardless of what people might think of the pats. They have been an efficient organization. Kinda hard not to respect their 7 year run when you local minor leauge NFL team is the Lions.

Yeah, but you'd hear about it for the rest of your life from every Pats fan in the country. Yeah, the Dolphins are jerks, but how often do you ever hear a Dolphin fan talking smack about their perfect season. In fact, how often do you even run into a Dolphin fan? :D

From 1972?

Either way, let's get the next season started!

I'm going to try a little harder to make to some games this year (both pro and college).

Here's to hoping none of the top 8 make it into the top 8.

wtf have I said anywhere about being a Tiki Lover? I've mentioned Tiki one **** time on this board, and that was to suggest that Idachafee's daughter, like Tiki, might one day stop fumbling every time she toted the rock.

My feelings are hurt.

Now, on to more Tiki bashing.

I like this article here:

http://daily.phanaticmag.com/2008/02/ad ... ction.html

Barber did the Giants a huge favor by walking away after the 2006 season ..............

There was no Barber in the locker room undermining Manning an every turn .............

While the Giants were winning the super bowl,
Tiki was probably spooning with Peter King, trying to convince his personal mouthpiece that "he didn't care," ..........

For any other league this would be true. For the NFL it is not. I recall the '91 '49ers going 10-6 and not making the playoffs. A few years ago the chiefs went 11-5 and didn't make the playoffs.

The NFL regular season has a huge bearing on the playoffs. You need to produce in both if you want to hold the trophy.

Most NBA, MLB, and NHL teams can have several multi-game loosing streaks and still get into the playoffs. A 4 game loosing streak in the NFL can be a playoff berth death knell.

What are you talking about? Who said I was one of Tiki Barber's lovers? There's alot of misinformation on the Internets and I want to make sure it's covered. I have never had sexual relations with that man, Mr. Barber. If you had spoken in clear English what you wanted Mr. Barber to do to/with the Vince Lombardi trophy, I'd have never said anything in this thread.

Well obviously, since there are only 16 games in the regular season in the NFL. Obviously each game more weight than in an 82 (NBA) or 162 (MLB) game season. Duh.

Thank you for contributing, not. The point was some posters were acting like statistics in the regular season in the NFL didn't mean anything. That is was garbage time. Hence where my arguement stemmed from. Please stop taking my comments out of context.
