I don't know this "Gay Perry", but if he clearly walked around with sandpaper in one hand a vaseline in the other (all the while saying he was clean) I would dislike him just as much as the roidboyz. McGwire, Clemens & Bonds, who turned into the incredible bulk overnight, all the while acting like it was just from eating wheaties (as if everyone is stupid), kinda make me sick.

Dude, you need this book to understand the real traditions in baseball (Perry gets his own chapter).

I'm not a really a baseball fan, but I would be bummed if the Cubs changed the name of Wrigley Field. I mean, if the McCaskeys were willing to rebuild Soldier Field without selling the name, I'm sure the Cubs should be able to work out something.

I'm still not sure how that makes baseball suck less and or makes me think I should be more in favor of drug use?

Was there cheating prior to roidrage? Yep. Does that make roidrage OK? Nope.

Are there bad traditions? Yep. Does that mean they should be kept along side good traditions? Nope.

You mean like Darryl Strawberry? I'm not saying the other sports are clean and pure. I'm just saying Baseball overall sucks more even if just a bit.

Strawberry huh? Theres also the Ramon "The Rapist" Castro. And Brett "Spousal Abuse" Myers. But how about those Portland Jail-blazers? The Bengals? These teams have a hard time practicing because being so close to other criminals violates their parole.
It does seem like there is a significant DUI problem in baseball (and that goes back as far as I can remember...) which no one ever talks about, but seems (to me) to be far worse than steroids and HGH. Though again, other sports experience the same kinds of issues, and much worse (Pacman Jones, Michael Vick, et al - I'd look up more examples, but I don't think the corporate IT guys would be amused).
