Wow...what a great game tonite. Boston came to play. When Pierce came thru that tunnel after he had been carried out of earlier..that crowd went absolutely nuts. Buried 2 3's back to back. Great defense on Kobe i thought too...in the last 3 minutes he was throwing up shots like it was his game to win...but didnt make many. Go Beantown

Bump...where are all u Laker fans? Boston has an uphill road to travel..if i didnt dislike Kobe so much id root for the Lakers..naw..just kidding

If Boston wins it all, it will be nice to see Garnet get a ring after all those years in Minnesota.
Ray Allen too. Although I find his incessant gum chewing annoying as hell.

Great first half...Kobe San only has 9 points...and 3 fouls He looks like a spoiled man child who got his candy taken away. Pierce has outplayed him dramatically. Go GREEN!!!!

Indeed..i couldnt agree more. Its a clinic they are putting on. So much for the "favored" Lakers I cant think of a team that deserves to lose more.

The Lakers weren't that favoured to win but Still the Celtics are playing very well. This may be from the eyes of a Laker fan, but the officials seem to be leaning towards the Celtics. I know that this is typical for home games, but still it still seems a little out of balance.

Wow. 104-100 with a minute left, who saw that coming? Its still an uphill battle though.

Wow....they tried to give this ol man the big one!!! Huge free throws by Pierce. Rondo missing those 2 gave em life. Good comeback by LA though. I question your thinking the refs were favoring Boston. Huge foul towards the end by knocking a player on a steal and no call. I would say the NBA wants..no...NEEDS this to go 7

Vegas gave big odds on the Lakers...and almost every sportswriter you can think of with the exception of a couple..predicted the Lakers in 6 or less.

When you go up that big that fast on energy plays it can be a bit tough to maintain. I can understand how the Celtics lost their momentum given how they built it. It can be really tough to carry that level of emotion through to the finish.

As far as the calls were concerned...Boston was pushing the action most of the game so they got more free throws etc. Both teams missed a few calls they should have gotten, which isn't really that unusual.

I'm sure things will be different once LA gets back home. So it's definitely not a walk yet. And yes I do think they secretly want a long series.

Boston only needs one game in La...game 4 i hope.

Near the end it seemed like the Lakers were sitting around waiting for Kobe to take over the game, always a bad thing IMO. (Reminds me of when the Bulls would do this with Jordan)

Even though they almost tied at the end, I didn't see a lot of people besides Kobe moving without the ball, rebounding, or doing much of anything on the offensive end.

I hope Boston wins just so I can see the disappointment in Kobe's face. I can't stand him. He seems to think that if anyone touches him at all that it should be a foul. He's always saying something about being contacted to a ref after he shoots or drives to the net. He doesn't get touched any more then anyone else does, so he should just shut the hell up.

Yeah...i agree 300%...the crowd was chanting some nasty stuff referring to his ordeal in Colorado..that soured me on the dude..no matter how good he is. He BELONGS in LA with the rest of the dingbats

When it comes to Kobe, you're just jealous he belongs to LA!

With the possible exception of this season, why would he? For most of his career the best way to beat the Lakers has been to goad Kobe into being himself.

We are all aware of his history but he is what he is and he's been trusting of my teammates lately and thats what led them to the top of the west.

I wonder how they will play tonite? On fire or blah? I think they will win this first one at home. Only if Kobe directs the symphony. If he plays selfishly they could/will get beat again. I wonder what brain cells the zen master massaged on the flight back

Poor shot selection and that goddarned sasha They still had a chance to win it though..i think its going to be a good series..if sasha never showed up Boston would have had a chance...fisher was pretty big too. They pretty well shut down Garnett and Pierce. Those two couldnt make a basket tonite if they were camped out at the top of the key with noone on em

He can...but when he tries to do it all and fails...the team does as well. He reminds me of the petulant child who didnt get his way. I read an article the other day that when he was going through the legal hassles in Colorado...the Lakers furnished him air fare. He was pissed because it wasnt a private jet???? Jebus.
