OK, here's the deal: there were 10 people on the 4th league list, not counting me. So, I can't be the one to create that last league under my login. What I need is someone on that list (see 1st post for names) to give me their Y! login, or make one up just for this league. Then, I can create the league under that login and go from there and invite people.
DPOSCORP: I have Ben on that list, since he's played in the past. He also gave me his Y! login in the past for this. Can you ask him if he plans to play this year?

I'd think that an easy (but possibly not very exciting) way to the the SUperbowl for that setup would be to just take the scores of the winners in their final games and compare them. Higher score = winner for the year. Of course, that gets really messy when you consider that teams from different leagues could very possibly have some of the same players.
