This is why the whole "This one counts!!!!!111" thing is utterly retarded. It's an exhibition, it's fun, let it be that way. It's not like the vast majority of participants didn't play hard in the first place. But you can't put people in a position to get hurt in a mid-season exhibition game. They say Brad Lidge threw like 100 warm-up pitches because Hurdle would get him up, put him down, get him up, etc. That's ridiculous - bordering on negligent (or intentional, even), IMO. Get him up, use him, let him out.
