Yeah, I read that last night.

As good as he is, it's time to let him go. 21 years with the organization is a long time. It'll be interesting to see what they do to replace him. Are they gonna put the assistant in there, or will they look to lure some high profile college coach?

The word is, he got himself fired on purpose. He refused to fire the D-Coordinator, and thus he was fired for it. Talk of him to the Jets and Mangini to the Browns is going on now.

Its shocking for us Bronco fans, I still cant get over it yet.

I am sure Shanny will go on an be successful on another team and I have thank him for the Super Bowl victories.

I ma hearing that Bill Cowher is the leading candidate and I am not sure what I think of that yet.

I see its all the cold weather teams replacing coaches too.

If I was Cowher or Shanahan, I would look for something in the south or in a dome where it warm and the joints won't hurt as much.

Shanahan was also the GM, right? That sounds like something right up Cowher's alley - it seems like he turned down the Jets because he wanted to buy the groceries as well as make dinner [/Parcells].
