Doesn't matter for now. The real race begins with the 3rd round.

Damn double points bonus. ;)

I will figure out my best team and will apply the DP before long!

With the "don't let the Europeans wake up before dawn to watch and North America be damned" madness over (I say that experiment really backfired, stupid Bernie), we can finally start to watch some races. :x

I made the mistake of not including a Red Bull and putting too much faith in Toyota. Pole sitter saved me a bit though.

So what happened before when the races were in the middle of the night? Did you guys just stay up? Or not watch them like us now? May be you guys should give Bernie some negative feedback. Three o'clock in the morning to catch the race is just too bad for us here. :-?

Welcome Jigar! I didn't know you are an F1 fan. Supporting Force India? ;) Too bad you will be missing one whole race worth of points, so you may be out of the running for the top this year, but we can most certainly do some competition by individual races.

I know, i am not competing for the top spot, but it will be fun comparing scores on the individual races. :D

Just base on the fact that you live in that country...

However, selecting winning teams in F1 is worse than the GPU wars. Fanboyism won't work if you want to win. 8)

Well getting up at 6-7am is just as inconvenient. Either way it's sleep lost lol.

I think I have a good team, I should have done better this race, I'll do well in Bahrain I believe

We do 7-8am for the European races and we (people on the East Coast at least) seem to be fine with it. We can just call it "an early morning". But 3am? That's a bit much.

This league is price vs performance. More so than the McLaren league as you get bonus points for unused credits.

My suckage continued because I don't have Red Bull in my pool. Got 973 this time. If only Trulli did not crash out, argh!

Looks like I have my proof for some changes next time. ;)

I like where I stand after Monaco without having used any of my bonuses.

Mini League aside, I am going to have Sunday morning engagements in the summer so I will be missing a lot of races this year. Now we have this crap. IMO Max is a worse tool than Bettman. Must be all that Nazi sex going to his head.

Makes me getting less interested with F1 as days go by, when we are having one of the more exciting season in years. :x

I didn't even make the changes that I wanted (more Red Bull content) and I dropped one spot overall, but I now climbed to 3rd in the team with the 2 bonuses still in reserve. Good times.

But now, the question becomes, will MacLaren and Hamilton make a charge that we need to address, and/or if it is time to bail on the Brawn?

Since the spring that nearly killed Felipe Massa came from Barrichello's Brawn, I think their minds weren't fully in the race.

Re: Formula 1 2009 Mini League

The spring coming off of Barichello's car compromised his qualifying strategy. Brawn had already decided on Button's Q3 fuel fill and put it in before deciding to spend 10 minutes swapping the spring on his car. This meant he had too much fuel in Q3 given how few laps he ended up running and so compromised his qualifying strategy.

On a circuit that is infamous for lack of overtaking (although being KERS equipped seemed to help) poor qualifying meant that the Brawn's were then in trouble for the race. They had some tyre degradation issues as well, although that might have been easier to manage from the front of the race rather from embedded in the middle of the pack.

F1 may be cutthroat, but behind it all they are still human. As a Brawn team member I know that I might have had a part in almost killing a driver. With that hanging over your head there's no way that the team is running a top form.

Agreed. There's quite a lot of movement of personnel from team to team as well so I bet some of them have worked closely with Massa over the years.
