Man . . . . . What a sucky round of picks last weekend. I went 6-10 (I would have picked Miami to beat the Jets anyways). I now stand at 26-22, barely above .500

Ah well, this week will better for sure. This also the first weekend with Bye's, so get those rosters adjusted!!!! NO EMPTY SLOTS PLEASE!!!!! - really takes away from the competition.

Sunday, Oct.3
NYJ @ Buffalo - I can't see Buffalo winning anything anytime soon.
Cinci @ Cleveland - Interstate rivalry is usually good stuff.
Denver @ Tennessee - Chris Johnson might hurt somebody this week.
Carolina @ New Orleans - My upset pick of the week. Probably wrong, but no other game qualifies as an upset.
Detroit @ Green Bay - See what I mean!!
Seattle @ St. Louis - One day . . . . .ONE DAY . . . . . the rams will win one.
San Fran @ Atlanta - Tough game this.
Baltimore @ Pittsburgh - Polamalu all day.
Houston @ Oakland - i don't recall Houston doing that well when they travel west, but I don't follow stats to tough.
Indy @ Jacksonville - What is going on in Jaguar land?
Washington @ Philly - Vick is gonna go off!!
Arizona @ San Diego - The Cards are hurting - the Chargers are too, just not as much.
Chicago @ NYG - Sorry Eli!!

Monday, Oct.4
New England @ Miami - Ricky!!! :o

Byes: Dallas, Kansas City, Minnesota, Tampa Bay.

Last week I went 8-1 in the afternoon games, 3-2 in the evening games, and 0-2 in the night games. At least I'm still more clutch than the Redskins.

Sunday, Oct.3
Jets @ Buffalo - Last season LT stood for Less Touchdowns. Maybe it should have been Latent Talent (which also happens to be a nice little anagram).
Cincinnati @ Cleveland - If only the Browns had a decent QB, they could be this week's upset special.
Denver @ Tennessee
Carolina @ New Orleans
Detroit @ Green Bay - It'll be fun to see how much pressure the Lions can get on Rogers. That O line looked terrible last week.
Seattle @ St. Louis - Why not, the Hawks are on the road.
San Fran @ Atlanta
Baltimore @ Pittsburgh - Upset of the week.
Houston @ Oakland
Indianapolis @ Jackson-ville
Washington @ Philadelphia - I wish I could find a stat on how often a veteran QB who mentored a younger QB beat their pupil after being traded.
Arizona @ San Diego
Chicago @ Giants - I'm pretending the Bears are terrible. That's why this pick makes sense.

Monday, Oct.4
New England @ South Beach - These are some words.

Sunday, Oct.3
NYJ @ Buffalo- Sanchez has had bad outings vs the bills but the jets can keep it on the ground and be fine
Cinci @ Cleveland-should be a good game to watch
Denver @ Tennessee
Carolina @ New Orleans
Detroit @ Green Bay -GB will bounce back from a tough loss
Seattle @ St. Louis-stranger things have happened
San Fran @ Atlanta
Baltimore @ Pittsburgh- low score in this one. ravens by 3
Houston @ Oakland
Indy @ Jacksonville
Washington @ Philly
Arizona @ San Diego
Chicago @ NYG chicago was impressive last week but I don't think they can maintain that level

Monday, Oct.4
New England @ Miami-would be different if it were @ foxboro

Anyone else finds this strange . . . . it seems that whoever the starting QB is for Philly is bound to get some sort of rib/arm injury and early in the season . . . McNabb, Kolb, Vick . . .now back to Kolb? :o

Vick was the most hit quaterback going this year, interesting to see if that was a result of his running or if the line is just poor.

I'm still pissed at Indy.. after Jacksonville's last two games, where the heck did they come from...

And no, I'm not bitter at all that I switched from San Diego to Indy at the last minute in the survivor league...

I don't even want to admit how bad off I am after the games these past few weeks -- this one, especially.
May have to throw in the towel early this year.
