Yeah, basically.
Nebraska played ok the first half but turned it over right at the end of the 1rst half which led to a wisconsin td.
Three turnovers all led to Wisc tds. Nebraska defense couldn't stop them. However, we haven't stopped really anyone all year.
I don't think Wisconsin could stand up to OK, LSU or Alabama. They just haven't faced a good defense yet.
Not that they aren't good.. they are but it's still hard to judge how good they are based on the Nebraska game.
Ohio St was beating Nebraska worse than Wisconsin did until the 2nd half.

They lost by a field goal. They would have tied if they didn't miss that field goal in the 4th quarter.

it does at least make people feel better about the current system.
However, Wisconsin would beat Michigan St 7 or 8 times out of 10. Oklahoma would beat Texas Tech 8 or 9 times out of 10.
Playoff of the top 8 teams is what is needed.CB5000 wrote:danny e. wrote:Oklahoma is also choking today.

OK should have won by 20. It was choking.

Clemson is just on a roll this year. It's been a long time since we've had a showing this strong without choking horribly.
I've been here since 2004 (woo grad school!) and I can't remember a single season where we had chances this good for a title game...
