Wonder if the Yankees' luxury tax predictions included his $25 million or not? Either way, good riddance to a bad apple. Now to right the sinking ship known as the Yankees' farm system.

Setting up TR Baseball 2014 to match the reporting day for pitchers and catchers. Need to stick to some of the traditional symbolism in this game.

My understanding is that for 2014 his salary is not part of their luxury tax calculations, but if he returns in 2015 (and even if they outright release him and just give him the 70 million or so he'd be owed) it will be next year.
