Big changes this year. No 2 race practice session and points start from race 1 in Australia on 17 March. Unlimited changes allowed until the race weekend, 5 changes after that. This might bollix things.

Teams with slow starts may really hamper things. Should probably allow more changes to balance things out.

Need to start checking out those revolving door of no-name drivers with money that are popping up in the bottom feeder teams. Much homework to be done.

Hope I'm wrong, but it looks like it's going to be a long season for us McLaren fanboi's :(

Can't be a fanboy in this game.

EDIT: Looks like unlimited changes are still available until midnight EDT Friday 15 March/04:00 GMT 16 March. I just logged in to amend things and saw "unlimited" as the number of changes remaining.

It's not letting me make edits during the race weekend. Besides, I don't let my heart affect my fantasy selections (most of the time).

No time to do any research at all, so just hastily put together something. Let the season begin! :)

I probably won't have time to make the proper research and updates throughout the season in the long haul, so I am going to brag about this (probably) short-lived lead after the first race!

Position  Team                   Score
---------------------------------------
   1      Flying Fox             826
   2      Captains Concordes     825
   3      SeanOnSlicks           804
   4      cubical10              777
   5      jigar2speed            740
   6      Obsidian               725
   7      Get a Mechanical Grip  632

Nico Rosberg going out early with electrical gremlins really hurt me. Got about what I expected from the rest of the crew, though.

The no-namers did surprisingly good for their first race. I hope they can continue to overachieve.

And yet you were only one point behind FF ? Sir, you have one powerful team with you.

I also have Rosberg in my team. 8) Since we expect Mercedes is going to do better than McLaren, he seems on paper the better bang for buck choice over Hamilton.

That makes three of us, but now i am aware i have one team member who screwed up and because of him, i am almost 90 points behind you guys

EDIT: Changes done, next race, i should show good numbers.

EDIT 2: If i show better results from next race, all thanks would go to FF.

EDIT 3: I did some calculations and found a surprising thing: if i had this team that i choose right now after the 1st Race, i would have scored exactly 965 points in the 1st Race. :o , I hope this team scores good in second.

A knee-jerk reaction may not play well since we don't have practice races anymore. Trends are now more important than blips on the radar, especially if we have a slower-to-warmup team and they come on strong in a few races. Also, if your budget has been maxed out to begin with, then you pretty much need to move 2 at a time, eating into the total of 5 moves.

We will have to see.

He's my low point this race, thought he was a decent wet driver. :(

The rampant team orders this race reminds me of that Austrian GP so many years ago. They need to do something about it.

The wheels literally falling off of the Force India cars didn't look like the result of poor driving or race strategy to me. There were mechanical problems.

Now, Fernando Alonso's collision on the first lap followed by the decision to leave him out to try a second lap with a broken wing... that looked stupid.
