What are you going to use this system for? For general use or media encoding, it should be fine. For gaming, you would have been better off with a Socket-939 system.

that intel 950 integrated vid thingy.

pcie slot for later upgrade;/

16x dvdrw and 16 x dvdrom drives

8 in 1 media reader

gigbit eithernet

lots of extra software.. yes some bloatware too;/

from gateway 849 bucks sold at compusa.
If at first you dont succeed use a bigger hammer.

It will work, won't be a great system for gaming, but it won't be bad. Also, your sig is too large. Please check the height on it (144px) the max is 100 px.
