Ok i have an S754 EPox EP-8KDA3+ (NF3250Gb)mobo
I have 1x 512Mb of this ram:

i wan to drop 2 more of those in my PC linky>>

will i need to worry about this dropping my ramm speed to DDR333?

If so what about just adding 1 more stick?

Yes, with all three slots full you'll likely be cruising at 333. No problem with two total DIMMs at 400.

The issue boils down to sides. The Athlon64 can handle 4 sides of ram at DDR400. If you use dual sided DIMMs (very common in 512MB+), you can only do two sticks. If you're lucky enough to find single sided DIMMs, you can fill all three slots.

I would be surprised if you can run 3 double-sided sticks stable at DDR400. Even 2 may be iffy. Realistically, if you want to run stable at DDR400 with reasonable timings using multiple DIMMs, you should get single-sided DIMMs.

ok so DDR333 here i come.but wait...my core will go to 2.6(from 1.8*brag*) im sure my DIMMS will be pushed well past DDR400.So no prob here thanks for the help brew and forge.

Now i get to take those 2 256meg sticks out.Thank god!

lol i have a PC2100 and a PC2700 256 meg stick to give me 1 gig.but i got em all overclocked so i think they are around 15x ish.talking about one screwed up RAM config.
