that's coo. I am very pleased of the X800XL i went from a ATI Radeon 9600XT, it was ok but the new card I got is a major improvement. Finally got to play some HL2 last night and noticed the difference. Now I can play some BF2 without problems.

yes the jump from a 9600xt to a x800xl is quite an improvement in gfx processing power.

Ok from what I've been reading past few days, it looks like for my price which is under 250$ for sure that the x800lx and x800GTO are in my price range and are great cards.

Next question yes I found a video card now which make should I get?

http://labs.anandtech.com/news.php?id=6

Sapphire Radeon X800GTO2 256MB $211.89
PowerColor Radeon X800GT 256MB $164.99
Connect3D Radeon X800GTO 256MB $188.00

So really whats the diff? I know my last video card I went with Asus just because of the name but I paid 40$ more and really I don't think there is much of a diff between that one and the other name I was looking at.

can someone expand on the real diff between makes, I know MSI makes this card too saw it in PCGamer mag with full reviews.

Thanks

Fist of all you should have just started your own thread(this ones old)... but anyway
DEFINITELY buy the Saffire X800GTO2... You can unlock the extra 4 pipes on that card. Also since it uses the r480 core it will easily over clock past 500mhz.

GTO2 > GTO > GT.

You should consider if after tax it will go over your budget.
