Some months ago I asked for some hints in order to buy a computer aimed for gaming, however the budget has change a bit and now I can invest more cash. The Idea is:

Principal Components:
+ AMD Athlon 3800+ --> 366,81 Euros
+ PLACA K8 DFI LANPARTY ULTRA-D SK939 DDR PCX --> 127 Euros
+ XFX GeForce 6600GT PCI-E 256MB --> 225 Euros
+ 2 GB DDR 400 --> 160 Euros
+ DISCO 200 GB SATA MAXTOR 7200 8MB --> 92 Euros

Is this a good combo? Also, Is the motherboard suitable to include a D-Core processor in the future? or should I get a better one.

Also I have a question, can anyone recomend me a TFT screen 17' or 19', something that is well tested and that not give much problems. Just a brand or something the like it. Now I have a Mitac and I have nver had a problem.

looks good to me, as for the mobo, im pretty sure its good and yes, it can use a dual core processor in the future.

Some people have reported issues with some of the recent maxtor hdd's. Probably isn't an issue, but just wanted to give you a heads-up. Looks like a good buy. What case, and more importantly, what power supply are you going to be using on it?

UsaComp, I am right know thinking on a case, I would be open to suggestions on what characteristics should I look for on a case. About the power supply, I am lokking for something like 450W, however any tip will be mostly welcomed )))

¿Any suggestions or problems found in any of those 2 products?

For a case, I say go with whatever looks good to you visually. You spend 99% of the time looking at it and not actually doing anything to it. However, your system depends on the stability of the power supply, so I would highly recommend sticking with a good name like Enermax or Antec or Thermaltake or something along those lines.
