I have heard it dead simple to share data over ethernet, but I have never seen it that easy. However it is is not an issue of brands of ethernet. I have always been able to ping any equipment that connect with ethernet. Getting the opperating systems to see hardrives on other computers has been a challange for me. Maybe because my brain is just more simple than version of windows I am using.
What is more my speed is a back-up usb hard drive. Pug it in, copy, paste, move hardrive, copy, paste. I recomend one if you don't already have one.
