You didnt waste any money. You got raped The egg has it for 65 bucks with no mention of a rebate..at least at last look it didnt.

On another note, i ordered a new drive from the egg yesterday and didnt pay attention to the shipping options. They are now using UPS as their default shipper If im lucky, ill get my drive by xmas before i have to ship it back as damaged

yeah whats even worse, is i ended up removing the drive from the
external shell anyways and put it in my computer internally now.. so
for that HP dvd burner drive i paid $159 for, i could have been a smart
boy and purchased it for what? $40-50 on newegg?

damn i feel sucky about this now. i hate bestbuy.

Thanks alot for the Link. I don't see the link at amazon.com and if I go to tigerdirect.com it doesn't have a rebate as usual. Oh well thanks alot. I'm picking one up today.
