Sold out!

It's not Blu-ray, but this looked like a good deal...

I had put it on my Christmas wishlist, but it looks like Best Buy has pulled the old bait & switch again with only limited quantities offered. :( Does this make anyone else angry?

Bastages..i tried it as soon as it listed and was already sold out. Altho i did get the 120g drive the other day. Luck of the draw i guess. Not to mention shoddy biz practices :x

I saw this either yesterday or the day before on Techbargains and looked at it, but I seem to recall that the rebate wasn't right or something. Now it appears they got that squared away but the item is no longer available.

I'm still not sure what Plextor offers in IDE drives that everyone else doesn't, except that they include proprietary Windows-only writer software, so it didn't seem like much of a loss.

Try going to your local b&m. I was just at my local b&m (22150) yesterday evening and there must have been a dozen or so of those drives sitting on their shelves.
Fold! And I don't mean your clothes!
