Great deal on x2gen 19" monitor - - but who is x2gen?

Sun Jan 01, 2006 10:58 am

I'm looking at 19" lcd's and came across a $200 AR 19" unit made by x2gen here:

I have never heard of them, have you? They boast great specs and the reviews at Tigerdirect are great. I was set on a Syncmaster...until I saw this. Any info and opinions would be appreciated. Thanks.

I noticed the lack of DVI input...but that's not important to me. I also noticed somewhere (I think) a 1 year wty as opposed to 3 years for Samsung.

What about Tigerdirect rebates...have people experienced hassles with them?

Yeah they are...the worst in the biz IMOHO. The egg has that monitor for like 35 bucks more. Cant find any reviews on it either. Even if you have to RMA the darned thing because of pixels or whatever..TigerDirect is da evil

Yeah..i saw that he wasnt worried about not having the DVI..so its a pretty good deal. Office Depot and Staples have cleaned up their act as far as rebates. I wished the "other" etailers would do the same
