I can't believe I just bought this. But I don't have a wireless mouse and $17 AR is freaking cheap.

Oh, so, yeah, it's back now.

EDIT: Hmmm....the rebate form seems to have disappeared from the page. But I still got at it through my history.

anyone notice that they pulled the old rebate form and now you have to buy the keyboard too. I just bought one and I have the old rebate form where you only have to buy the mouse THANKS paco!

i on the other hand purchashed the mx610 laser mouse throgh price matchin for 30 buck at circuit city last month my favor mouse ever i might add

They've sadly changed their offer. It used to be just the mouse.

Hope they don't make trouble when I try and get my $50 back... :-?

actually you dont if you have the previous rebate form it says you only need to buy the G7 makes no mention of the keyboard THE POSTMARK DATES ARE EVEN DIFFERENT BETWEEN THE TWO FORMS. they definately just pulled the rebate form

they wont make trouble i bet they just pulled the other rebate form due to the crazy high demand. If you notice the other forms post mark dates are older, theyve reverted back to the rebate newegg has. Im making a copy just in case they do make trouble...because then its false advertising.

nope I have a Mx518, I was about to (entered my CC info) clicked next get a big "Insufficent Stock". I think O well don't really need it. It comes back in stock. I'm about to click confirm but I hesitate because amazon wanted to offer me their prime program for 3 months. I think about then decided not to, I click confirm! "Insufficent Stock" Doh! I don't think I'm supposed to get it :lol:

Anyway, i'm reading about this deal over in the Anand forums also, and some posters are claiming that as long as you buy through Amazon, this rebate will work.

But it looks like $8.00 shipping since its comming from Tiger Direct. Total AR should be about $20.00 + tax. Would this be a free super saving shipping if it was directly from Amazon.com?

I really wish this was an ambidextrous mouse. I want to click buy.

edit: nvm.. it would be free shipping

Fairly sure? This doesn't sound like you have had experience with this scenario. I bought this after reading confirmations by 2 members in the Anandtech forums after they called up Logitech.

My mouse is acting strange anyway and need a new one. If im wrong i have a new mouse, if i'm right then :D

Don't do it if you feel unsure.

Edit: Update... I did cancel my order until i can verify by phone that this rebate is legit (i can't find a rebate promo # on this rebate) and if the rebate will work even if the item is bought through Amazon and Tiger Direct. Damn answering machines. I called logitech but the real persons i did talk to had no information.

I'm starting to get worried. My mouse still hasn't been put out the door, and it's expected ship date isn't until the 21st. I'm pretty sure the sale date isn't until the ship date because they don't charge you until then. But of course the rebate expires on the 20th. I suspect they just decided it wasn't worth it and are going to try and make all the sale dates too late. :(
If it's not out in time I'll have to cancel; I really can't afford that much money for a mouse.

After a couple of months, I'm not all that thrilled with the Logitech G7. I believe that I prefer the charger cradle design of the MX700 rather than having to swap rechargeable batteries in the middle of a game when the G7 goes dead.

wtf ya mine got changed to the 21 as well. HUGE COINCIDENCE THAT THAT IS WHEN THE REBAT EXPIRES :-? sometimes companies really try and stick it in the customers butt.

Im thinking though that looking at my past invoices it always says order placed on the top. it says nothing of sale only order date and ship date. so that invoice should be valid. otherwise amazon should be called out for some dirty backdoor business tricks

I also noticed at amazon there is a $10 rebate for the LX7 which i would be more interested in since it is ambidex and i don't need a gaming mouse. Not as good a deal as the G7 though.

... and why don't these rebates have promo #s?
