Gigabyte GT 240 video card $55 after MIR (ick) card

GIGABYTE GV-N240D5-512I GeForce GT 240 512MB 128-bit GDDR5 .. $79.99 ($54.99 after $25.00 Mail-In Rebate Card pdf ) .. free shipping

Part of the current Newegg 72 hour sale which ends 11:59 PM March 28, although the MIR looks to be good until March 31.

The GT 240 produces 4000+ folding points per day with probably the best bang for your electric bill buck of any folding option. And this one gets all the power it needs from the PCI-E slot.

how good would this be for phsyx? or would a 9800GT be better?
I still need an nvidia card to pair with my ATI card.

By default, this card may be slower than a 9800 GT, but I also anticipate some healthy overclocking headroom that may or may not make up for it.
It also uses less power than a 9800 GT however.

I don't think you can pair it with an ATI card for PhysX if you're running any kind of a recent version.
