The GT 240 produces 4000+ folding points per day with probably the best bang for your electric bill buck of any folding option. And this one gets all the power it needs from the PCI-E slot.

By default, this card may be slower than a 9800 GT, but I also anticipate some healthy overclocking headroom that may or may not make up for it.
It also uses less power than a 9800 GT however.

I don't think you can pair it with an ATI card for PhysX if you're running any kind of a recent version.
